Pilates is a system of exercise that safely streamlines, strengthens and stretches the body transforming the way your body looks, feels and performs.

Created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's, it was initially developed as a rehabilitation technique.

The Pilates method uses a floormat or equipment creating a sleek, toned body - preventing injuries and alleviating chronic ailments.

No matter what your age, sex or condition, Pilates will work for you.

Interest in Pilates has recently boomed with many celebrities and supermodels, such as Liz Hurley, Amber Valletta, Honor Blackman, and Sharon Stone using Pilates as part of their fitness routine.

During the retreat week, Andrea teaches Pilates matwork classes incorporating gym balls, weights, bands and rolls.

The Pilates week is ideal for those new to Pilates but have always wanted to try, as well as those who already practice Pilates as part of their lifestyle.
